1. Noah

As the rising floodwaters cleansed the globe of humanity’s wrongdoing, this version of the story begins centered on Noah (Russell Crowe), the man God entrusted to safeguard the innocent animals of Earth. 

As the story progresses, we see how Adam and Eve’s sins have been carried down through generations through their sons, Cain and Abel.

Furthermore, God decides to use an apocalyptic flood to wash away mankind’s sins.  

Before that happens, Noah must build an ark large enough to hold his family and a breeding pair of every animal. Darren Aronofsky directed the movie.

Come Sunday is based on an episode of the public radio show This American Life on Bishop Carlton Pearson.

There, he becomes the servant of a wealthy Egyptian who misunderstands him and imprisons him.

He demonstrates his God-given ability to interpret dreams by interpreting the dreams of two other inmates.  

Furthermore, Pharaoh is eventually disturbed by nightmares, summoning Joseph, who solves them and saves Egypt.

It presents the humorous story of Fred, an out-of-work laziness who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny and has to take him in while he heals, combining state-of-the-art animation with live-action. 

Fred and the world’s worst houseguest will learn what it takes to eventually grow up as Fred battles with the world’s worst houseguest.
