There are more movies like Nightmare Before Christmas to watch if you and your kids love Nightmare Before Christmas.

Furthermore, The Nightmare Before Christmas is so much more than a film. It’s a matter of taste—a sensation. There’s a vibe.  

Tim Burton’s 1993 holiday crossover film has become such a favorite for everyone, perhaps especially Millennials and their children, that it’s spawned an entire line of products to keep that Nightmarish good feeling alive all year. 

Furthermore, T-shirts, costumes, bedding, and toys, to name a few examples. Even with all the goods, humans can only take so much of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Additionally, sometimes you need movies like Nightmare Before Christmas. 

1. Corpse Bride (2005)

In this story set in the late 1800s in a Victorian village, Victor Van Dort and Victoria Everglot are betrothed because the Everglots need money or they’ll have to live on the streets, and the Van Dorts want to be high in society.  

On the other hand, Victor retires to the woods to practice his vows after the wedding rehearsal goes wrong.

However, as soon as he gets his act together, he marries Emily, the corpse bride. A wealthy newcomer may fill Victor’s shoes while Victoria waits on the other side.  

So, who would Victor choose with two brides and only one husband? Additionally, Tim Burton and Mike Johnson directed The Corpse Bride, which Stars Helena Bingham Carter, Johnny Depp, Tracey Ullman, Emily Watson, and Paul Whitehouse.  

2. The Addams Family (1991)

The Addams Family is a movie similar to The Nightmare Before Christmas. It emerged from Charles Addams’s cartoons.

However, they are well-off and live in a house with all the macabre trappings (including a detached hand as a servant).  

Furthermore, a dishonest accountant and his loan shark are thrown into the mix, as is a scheme to introduce the shark’s son into the family as their long-lost Uncle Fester.  

Can the imposter Fester get into the vault before being discovered? Furthermore, the Addams Family is directed by Barry Sonnenfeld.

And Starring Raul Julia, Anjelica Huston, Dan Hedaya, and Christopher Lloyd.  

3. Coraline (2009)

Coraline is bored and ignored by her parents when she moves to an old house. She discovers a concealed door that leads to a bricked-up corridor.

In addition, she crosses the passage in the middle of the night. She finds a parallel world where everyone has buttons instead of eyes and compassionate parents, and all her fantasies come true.  

Additionally, Coraline refuses the Other Mother’s invitation to stay in her world forever and discovers that the parallel reality is bound to be a ruse to entice her.

Henry Selick directs Coraline, which Stars Dakota Fanning, John Hodgman, Teri Hatcher, Dawn French, and Jennifer Saunders.  

4. Frankenweenie (2012)

Frankenweenie is one of the best movies, like Nightmare Before Christmas.

When Victor’s pet dog Sparky (who appears in Victor’s homemade monster movies) is killed by a car, Victor vows to resurrect him, which is the only way he knows how.  

Additionally, when the bolt-necked “monster” causes chaos and panic among Victor’s neighbors, he must persuade them (and his parents) that Sparky is still the kind, loyal companion he’s always been.

Tim Burton directs Frankenweenie. And Starring Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder, Martin Landau, Martin Short, and Charlie Tahan. 

5. Monster House (2006)

DJ, 13, is watching his neighbor Nebbercracker, who lives on the other side of the street in the suburbs and destroys children’s tricycles that transgress on his property.  

Furthermore, when DJ’s parents leave on Halloween Eve, and his cruel babysitter Zee stays with him, he summons his clumsy best friend Chowder for a game of hoops.  

Additionally, The older man has a heart attack when the ball lands in Nebbercracker’s yard, and they immediately learn that the home is a monster.  

Jenny is later rescued from the eerie mansion by the lads. The trio tries miserably to convince the babysitter, her boyfriend Bones, and two cops that the haunted house is a monster, but no one believes them.  

In addition, on Halloween night, the teenagers ask their video-game-addicted friend Skull how to demolish the house, and they reveal the method.

Gil Kenan directs Monster House. And Starring Sam Lerner, Mitchel Musso, Ryan Whitney, Spencer Locke, and Catherine O’Hara.  

6. Hotel Transylvania (2012)

Hotel Transylvania is a movie like The Nightmare Before Christmas. In 1895, Dracula constructed a resort in Transylvania to nurture his beloved daughter, Mavis, in a protected setting apart from humanity.

The current location is the Hotel Transylvania, where monsters and their families go on vacation to escape terrifying humans.  

In addition, Dracula gathers his friends to celebrate Mavis’ 118th birthday, including Frankenstein and his wife Eunice, Wayne and Wanda, the werewolves, Griffin, the invisible man, Murray, the mummy, and Bigfoot, among others.

When the party is ready to begin, Jonathan, 21, roams through the forest when he comes across the hotel. 

Additionally, when Dracula spots Jonathan, he disguises himself as a monster to keep him hidden from the guests.

However, Mavis notices Jonathan, and Dracula forces him to take on the role of a nightmare. 

Despite her father’s warnings about humans, Mavis soon believes Jonathan is the “zing” of her life. Genndy Tartakovsky directs Hotel Transylvania.

7. ParaNormal (2013)

A man who has long been haunted by the paranormal documents the horror and hilarity he and his lovely girlfriend experience after moving into a new home. 

ParaNormal is directed by Carly Craig, Kevin P. Farley, Eric Roberts, Nicky Whelan, William Katt, and Tom Sizemore.  

8. Hocus Pocus (1993)

Hocus Pocus is a movie similar to The Nightmare Before Christmas. In this crossover, the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus visit Halloweentown from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Imagine the incomparable Bette Midler as Winifred Sanderson, singing her heart out with her sisters Sarah and Mary.  

That might offer the youngsters of Salem a break from the three witches who are attempting to suck their souls to make them appear younger and starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Omri Katz.  

9. Sleepy Hollow (1999)

The tiny community of Sleepy Hollow is cursed by The Headless Horseman’s (Christopher Walken) curse.

Additionally, the eager Constable Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp) and his new world ways into the bog of secrets and murder, secrets once set to rest, best forgotten and now reawakened.

10. Toy Story That Time Forgot (2014)

Toy Story That Time Forgot is a movie similar to Nightmare Before Christmas. Following the Christmas break, the conventional toys find themselves stranded in a strange area with a gang of new and insane action figures.  

However, they must work together to return to their child’s chamber and safety. Additionally, Steve Purcell directs The Toy Story That Time Forgot.

And Starring Tom Hank, Kristen Schaal, Tim Allen, Emily Ricks Hahn, Kevin McKidd, and Wallace Shawn.
